How It All Started vs. How It’s Going Now

Every story has an origin, and for me, it all began with a nightmare.

I dreamt of a woman, swept down a raging river in a world that was falling apart. She struggles for survival, and in the chaos, she questioned whether it was worth it. That image haunted me. It needed to be a story—but I didn’t know what kind of story it would be, or where it would lead me.

I scribbled down rough outlines, notes, and messy ideas, unsure if I’d ever finish a book. I wondered if anyone would care about the characters I created—if their stories would matter to anyone besides me.

That’s how it started.

Now?
It’s hard to believe how far it’s come. That nightmare became Escape, the first book in my post-apocalyptic romantic thriller series. The characters have taken on lives of their own, and the world has expanded in ways I never imagined.

I’ve learned far more than expected about storytelling, writing, and connecting with readers. Your feedback, your excitement, and your questions inspire me every step of the way.
